"I have always loved Tampopo’s food since they ran the one in Sippy Downs long ago—great and authentic Asian food. My favourite yum is spicy beef noodles, which reminds me of a trip to Taiwan. Also, their spicy pork is always welcome. They have a new Tapas menu for dinner here, so I tried Tsukune(Japanese chicken ball) and Sotteok Sotteok, and it was mouth-watering! I will definitely be back soon!"

"Had ramen and taro milk tea today. such a perfect combo! The ramen was rich and comforting with flavorful broth and chewy noodles. The taro milk tea was creamy and so refreshing with soft boba. Warm, filling, and just what I needed. Would definitely get both again"

"Hands down the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had! Crispy, full of flavour, and just hits different. The vibe’s awesome, staff are lovely, parking’s a breeze, and they do takeaway too, so it’s super easy to enjoy their food at home. Definitely recommend this place."

"The most authentic Japanese and Korean I've ever had in Australia (better than the many I've tried in Melbourne and Brisbane). In fact I kind of wish their shop was in Japan. Everything was perfect, the broth, the noodles, the prices and air conditioning. Feels family for families, and massive portions!!! On a Monday!!! The only downside is that I was told that they get premade takoyaki so didn't order, but takoyaki is hard to make and very popular so fair enough. New favourite restaurant on the sunshine coast."

"We had a great dinner at Tampopo on Monday night. We knew it was going to be good when a whole bunch of other diners came into the restaurant as soon as it opened. The service was very friendly and prompt. More importantly though the food was sensational! The Korean fried chicken as to die for, the tempura prawns and vegetables excellent as was the Pork Belly stir fry we shared for main meal. Even the wakame salad and rice were delicious. If you live or are visiting anywhere on the Sunshine Coast do yourself a favour and visit this excellent little Japanese/Korean/Asian restaurant."

"Amazing food, I highly recommend the pork ramen! As good as Japan, just add the boiled egg. The spicy beef noodle is also excellent 10/10. Chicken karage is also a winner. We have been many times and it’s very consistent. The sushi rolls are great. We haven’t had a bad thing yet!"

"We came to Tampopo for my husband's birthday and, as always, everything was amazing! We ordered the ramen, sushi, and karaage—so good and full of flavour. I've been a fan since their Sippy Downs days and have followed them ever since. The quality has always been consistent, and the food never disappoints. Friendly staff, cozy vibe, and perfect for a casual Japanese meal. Highly recommend!"
